Wallington Hall – Easter simply isn’t Easter without an egg hunt. Nestled in quiet countryside you can host your own at your self-catering stable suite. Or head out to take part in one of the many events held across the region. Wallington Hall is a great day out for the family; explore its expansive grounds, go wild in the adventure playgrounds and take part in an Easter Egg Hunt to follow a nature-inspired trail, solve the clues and earn a sweet treat.
Bamburgh Castle – Blow away the last of winter’s cobwebs with a day at the coast. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Northumbrian coastline is also home to a wealth of historic castles. Hauxley Nature Reserve – As spring unfurls, the native wildlife of Northumberland returns to our shores, meadows and skies. Spend time spotting your favourites at Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre, home to birds, butterflies and much more.
Whitehouse Farm Centre – If you’re travelling with the whole tribe, you’ll find something to keep all of the little ones entertained at Whitehouse Farm Centre. Feed sheep, goats, horses, pigs and even llama. Meet animals from all over the world, from tiny mice and guinea pigs to wallabies, pythons and an Australian water dragon.
